New Delhi, February 24 – Bollywood star Akshay Kumar took a sacred dip at the holy Sangam during the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Monday, commending Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the well-executed arrangements at the event. The 57-year-old actor, who was last seen in the film Sky Force, expressed his appreciation for the remarkable improvements in the setup compared to his last visit in 2019. He noted that while in previous years, attendees often carried their belongings in small bundles, this time, the grandeur of the event has drawn in distinguished figures, including industrialists like Ambani and Adani, as well as famous actors. Akshay Kumar shared his thoughts with PTI, stating, “I had a wonderful time during my visit. The arrangements are outstanding, and a lot of commendable work has been accomplished. We are very thankful to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for providing such well-organized facilities.” He also extended his heartfelt thanks to the police personnel and workers who have diligently ensured the safety and comfort of all attendees. The Mahakumbh Mela, which commenced on January 13, is set to conclude on February 26. This grand event has seen the participation of various celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Sonali Bendre, and Vijay Deverakonda, enhancing its star-studded allure.
