New Delhi, Feb 24 (KNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has nominated Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, along with ten other notable figures, to aid in the battle against obesity and promote awareness about decreasing edible oil usage in food. In a post on X, PM Modi stated, “As mentioned in yesterday’s #MannKiBaat, I would like to nominate the following individuals to help bolster the fight against obesity and raise awareness on minimizing edible oil consumption in our meals.” He also urged them to nominate ten more people each to expand the movement. The other distinguished personalities include Anand Mahindra, Nirahua, Manubhaker, Mirabai Chanu, Mohanlal, Nandan Nilekani, Omar Abdullah, Actor Madhavan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sudha Murty. “Together, let us strive to make India fitter and healthier. #FightObesity,” the post concludes.
